Seattle Chiropractor Dr. Michael Arsheed

It all started 29 years ago when...

I was given advice to become introduced and acquainted with a chiropractor. An educator that had the confidence to put my back and thus my life together after suffering a debilitating bulging disc with existing degeneration. This particular chiropractor took me under his wings, treated me and performed miraculous work on my body. I was currently going to the medical field where I was dealing with pills and prescriptions.  This treatment failed my back and body, thus leading me to continue with chiropractic care.

Seattle Chiropractor, Dr. Michael Arsheed, with his family.

That experience turned my life around and opened my world to this type of care and because of it, I have been a chiropractor myself since 1983. My journey began in 1978 as a senior at Montclair State College in New Jersey where I realized I was dealing with increasing lower back pain foiled by numerous episodes of leg pain and numbness. During the time I was a server in a dining establishment when I started to realize that the pain I was experiencing was related to the long hours and physical demands of my job.

"Natural Hands On Method"

As a result of the pain, I took some time off from this job and continued to endure pain day in and day out although I was much less active and still under medical care. At this point I was open to every option to improve my health when the doctors started to suggest surgical procedures as a quick fix.

A chiropractor entered my life and guided me to the path of chiropractic care with senior chiropractic students and, under his supervision, within six months I regained mobility and back strength. Initially, my goal was to obtain a Bachelor Degree in Biology and Chemistry and return to my country of origin and become a High School Science Teacher/Educator.  However, because of the positive impact and changes that took place in my life 29 years ago, I was led to the pathway of chiropractic care. Thus gainig 25 years of satisfaction from treating patients with the "Natural-hands On method."  This was just like how I was treated... with love, passionate care, and respect by the chiropractor who changed my life.

I help all patients with their own natural health healing which is the ability for the body to heal itself under chiropractic care as our belief goes: "the power that made the body, will always innately heal the body."

I am excited about my profession and the results of treatment I have seen and witnessed on my patients over the years. I am a loving father of three children: two adult sons and one beautiful teenage daughter, who are all very active and healthy due, in part, to them growing up under chiropractic care.

I have enjoyed practicing in the same office in Seattle for over 25 years and living nearby with my loving wife and family. As a get-away and retreat, we enjoy family outings to Lake Chelan where I revitalize my mind, body and soul.

Due to the positive results I have seen throughout the years in my practice I wish to continue another 20 years or more in my practice serving the community of Greenwood and the Seattle area. I would love the opportunity to become an educator on a formal level for chiropractic care.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all my patients for their patronage and look forward to meeting every person reading this with the gift of chiropractic care. I sincerely hope this will be the start of the healing process for you, if you have any questions please feel free to contact our Seattle Chiropractic office or e-mail me at any time.

Dr. Michael Asks some important questions of interest to Greenwood Seattle residents - Chiropractor Greenwood Seattle Dr. Michael Asks...

How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
How do most people deal with vertebral subluxations?
First, they try to ignore them. When they don't, they go to the medicine cabinet to stop their brain from feeling the symptom. Later, back surgery may be threatened. Sadly, it's not until this later stage that they consult our Greenwood Seattle chiropractic office. Yet, even with the delay, most are delighted by the results produced by today's chiropractic care.
